Yes! All of our color consultants are certified and are required to stay up-to-date on current paint color trends.

Our standard policy when it comes to pre-existing shutters is to paint the shutters while they are attached to the home. We do this because most shutters here in Colorado are not installed with the ability to open and close. When removing pre-existing shutters, there is a very large risk that the shutter will be damaged so we do recommend leaving the shutters as they are when painting your exterior. If you plan to purchase new shutters we are able to take down your old ones and paint and install the new ones, so that is an option!

Although we don’t currently offer a virtual consultation package, our consultants can still help if you’re unable to meet with them, live out of state, or are just short on time. Be sure to talk to your account manager in the office to find the best option for you.

Sherwin Williams Emerald and Emerald Rain Refresh alongside Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior are our preferred exterior paint products because they have proven to hold up against the tough Colorado elements and provide a fantastic finish our clients love.

We believe in creating paint jobs that will last. Our warranty covers all workmanship, so that means any bubbling, peeling, etc. We have a one-of-a-kind warranty that we believe is the best in the state. Our No Exclusions warranty covers EVERYTHING! We’ll even cover up to $1,000 worth of hail damage to your paint!

The length of your project depends on the size of your home and the level of difficulty in painting however, most homes only take 1-3 days from start to finish and always strive to work on consecutive days. There are several factors that go into determining the cost of an exterior painting project. This includes the substrate, warranty selection, necessary prep and repairs, precautions such as for lead positive homes, number of colors on the home, and accessibility. We work with each client to determine the appropriate solution for their home based on their concerns and needs and offer a variety of products and warranty options to suit every budget.

Absolutely! As a Kind Home client you have access to the expert advice and guidance of our certified color consultant team. We recommend an in-person consultation to view samples and narrow down choices. We can also help you visualize the final product with a digital mock-up!

During your consultation your designer will get a feel for your personal taste and vision for the space before they break out their color toolkit. They’ll have larger swatches or full color sheets of Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore colors, color wheels, and color decks. You can also receive samples shipped directly to your home as well as digital mockups which are provided post consultation!

No! It’s very common for paint companies to offer a “free color consultation” but this usually just an estimator who is not certified in design. Our certified color consultants exclusively work with clients to find the perfect paint color for their interior or exterior paint projects.

Absolutely! We’re a one stop shop for your exteriors. We have outstanding woodwork and gutter teams that can assist with your wood and gutter replacement needs. As a Kind Home paint client, you will have access to our preliminary services such as carpentry work and gutter repair or replacement. During your estimate, your estimator will conduct a thorough inspection of your home and discuss any necessary repairs. They’ll then provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of all recommended repairs and replacements. Currently, we can only offer these services in addition to your exterior or interior painting project. We do not currently offer any woodwork or gutter only services.
